Use the healing of reflexology to improve your quality of life
Reflexology stimulates the body’s own healing mechanism to restore its natural equilibrium and vitality through the gentle massage of specific reflex points, meridians and nerve endings in the feet.
It is a very relaxing, safe and non–invasive therapy which detects and releases congestion and tension to prompt a corresponding response in the body.
Reflexology can be beneficial for a wide range of conditions including:

In addition to providing an overall sense of relaxation and well being, the cumulative effect of regular reflexology treatment will help promote better sleep, strengthen the immune system, improve circulation and ease pain and inflammation.
The Charles Street Clinic’s reflexologist is Lucy Coffin, BSc (Hons) Clinical Nursing (Adult), BSYA (Reflex). After finishing her nursing degree in 2005, and working in surgery, Lucy became very interested in complementary therapies as a way to support conventional medicine. She trained in reflexology with the British School of Yoga, studied with the Association of Reflexology specialising in fertility and pregnancy and is a qualified reiki practitioner (levels one and two).
"I believe we can all benefit from the luxury of complementary therapies," she says. "Reflexology is a very pleasurable and therapeutic way of maintaining health and vitality, even when there is no particular problem.
"It’s suitable for all ages and a wide range of conditions and is an excellent counter to the rigours of our stressful lives."
